Lihue Airport
3 Miles, 5 Kilometers, 6 Minute Drive
You might call it “The Gateway to Paradise.” Lihue Airport is Kauai's primary airport, offering domestic, international and interisland flights. The airport is just a short drive from Kauai Beach Resort, making us the perfect place to stay when you have a late or early flight.

- TURO, a self service online rental platform is very popular on our island and a convenient way to book your transportation. Turo offers a free shuttle from Lihue Airport to Turo's designated lot located at the Target Parking Lot in Kukui Grove Shopping Center, in Lihue.

At Kauai Beach Resort, we live colorfully. Each morning, the sun’s amber rays lift up over blue waters and the whitecaps lapping our shores to warm our lush emerald resort. In the evenings, lavendar skies flecked with clouds colored pink, and orange provide a postcard backdrop to a pau hana drink on the beach. Check out some of our favorite beaches, there are plenty to choose from and each shore will offer a unique experience. One of our favorites is Kalihiwai Beach Park, on the northshore, great for everyone, with a river that runs through, complete with rope swings. Exploring by land, sea, and air; sampling our tropical bounty of fruits and vegetables, locally-raised meats, and locally-caught fish; or immersing yourself in our history – how will you color your days?
